Thermonet Underfloor heating

Thermonet electric underfloor heating………..

Visit our premises in rural Cambridgeshire and discover our vast array of floor & wall tiles together with working examples of Thermonet underfloor heating inside and outside our showroom. Please see the details below for simplified information on the product. We can expand on this and explain the best system for your project if you call us or make a trip to the showroom.

Electric underfloor heating is usually installed on top of a concrete or timber substrate underneath the tiled floor finish. If there is not any insulation under your existing floor, the heating will be more efficient if 10.5mm thick ‘Econoboard’ is laid on top of the substrate before the heating system is installed.

There are a number of thermostatic controls to choose from. From a simple manual control through to touch screen programmable models and even via an app, so you can control the temperature from your mobile phone.

Installation – Simple steps to a luxurious warm floor

The above steps are intended to give you simplified guidance on installation. Call or visit us for more comprehensive advice on your project. Practical tip: We prefer to apply a layer of levelling compound between steps 3 & 4. This keeps the mat firmly in place while the tiles are being fixed and gives protection to the heating cables during the tiling process.

Flooring build up – Thermonet is only 3.5mm thick, so doesn’t add significant build up height to your floor
