Weetabix Factory Plant Room

Throughout this project, we had to carry out tiling works to a very tight deadline. Working alongside an active production area, compliance with factory hygiene regulations was paramount. Specialist tiles, epoxy grout and adhesives had to be used to withstand attack from molasses and other raw materials used in the production of Weetabix.

Traditional Geometric Floor Tiling with Reproduction Victorian Wall Tiles

Working in a Grade 2 listed building, the client's brief was to achieve a finished en-suite with a sympathetic style to the rest of their home. Modern reproductions of Victorian wall and floor tiles were sourced and a traditional design of bath, taps, toilet and shower were installed whilst retaining the existing basins.

Commercial Bed & Breakfast Property

During 2010 we undertook refurbishment of bedrooms this nineteenth century converted manor house. The proprietor was keen to update the existing bedrooms and en-suites as a part of his ongoing upgrade scheme. We produced various design options in house and, with client consultation, final drawings were approved. Works included replacement of sanitaryware with the installation of new wall and floor tiling to the en-suites. Purpose made joinery was produced to match existing that had deteriorated beyond repair. The electrical installation was upgraded in each room to meet current standards and each room was decorated to a high standard.

Stone Effect Floor Tiling – Kitchen Extension

A simple single storey extension provided a good sized kitchen to this local three bedroom detached house. The existing kitchen was converted into a dining room with a wide opening into the new extension. To provide continuity between each room new porcelain floor tiles were laid throughout. Electric under floor heating was provided in the kitchen and matching porcelain skirtings were fitted to reduce ongoing maintenance and decoration. The kitchen walls were tiled with a small brick shaped tile that matched the floor.

Vehicle Spraying Ovens – Gladwins Body Repair Centres – Various Branches

To minimise contamination in the spraying ovens our client requested a floor finish that is robust, easy to clean and can withstand the movement caused by fluctuating temperatures. To maximise light in these areas we suggested a white porcelain floor tile fixed with specialist flexible adhesive and grout together with rubber expansion joints. The contract was awarded to tile six ovens over two branches with the intention to upgrade the ovens throughout the group.

Quarry Tile Repairs - Murray Edwards College - Cambridge

Replacement tiles were fitted to this sensitive listed 1960's College in Cambridge. Working in conjunction with the college architect and Conservation Officer tiles were sourced and approved for this simple yet architecturally sensitive project.

Tophams Hotel – London

Working alongside the client and architect from the inception of the project we sourced and supplied sanitaryware together with porcelain wall and floor tiles for this prestigious 50 bedroom hotel in London SW1.
